Abstract

Türkiye’de yetişen Barbarea W.T.Aiton (Nicarotu) cinsine ait türler revize edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda bu cinse ait türler için teşhis anahtarı verilmiş olup, bu türlerin betimleri, yayılış ve habitat bilgileri güncellenmiştir. Türkiye’de 14 türle temsil edilir ve bunların 11’i endemiktir. Bu cinsin türleri, genellikle sulu, nemli, yarı nemli, kısmen kurak, bazen de kurakçıl ortamlarda yetişmektedir. Türkçe ismi verilmeyen bazı taksonlara yeni Türkçe bilimsel adlar verilmiştir. Birçok türün tipifikasyonu güncellenmiştir. Ayrıca B. verna (Mill.) Aschers.’ın (er nicarotu) lektotiplendirilmesi yapılmıştır.

The species belonging to the genus Barbarea W.T.Aiton. (Nicarotu) growing in Türkiye were revised. An identification key to the species of this genus is provided, and the descriptions, distribution, and habitat information of these species is updated. The genus is represented by 14 species in Türkiye, 11 of which are endemic. The species of this genus generally grow in wet, humid, semi-humid, arid and sometimes xerophytic environments. New Turkish scientific names have been added to some taxa. The typification of many species have been updated. In addition, the lectotypification of B. verna (Mill.) Asch. is made.
